How do they determine who gets veteran status? Do you have to be someone that flies combat missions, or serves in a forward area, or does war related work? Any answers would be appreciated.

I've taken the AFOQT and have turned in my application. Problem: My score was very low; I am wondering if anyone has any information as to how much this will effect my application. My letters of REc. are strong, as well as my GPA and interview.

I recently signed up and was lied to and misled into a job i didnt want. I wanted to go into Air Traffic Control. Is there any way i can change jobs. If not is it possible to back out even after i've signed up/sworn in. Please help im going crazy here.

BMT is not hard, other branches make the AF look like we went to the country club, but it is a challenge its more of a mind came than anything. you just have to be in the right frame of mind when you step off the buss, coz thats when the fun begins.
