Questions about Basic Training in the airforce

In terms of firing weapons, is there any specific requirments on hitting targets (Do you have to hit a certain number in a certain amount of time)?

Can you be pre-trained (through airforce delayed entry or whatever) on how to fire weapons and take apart weapons prior to basic training. In addition, can you be pre-trained on marching basics?

Thanks for the help

i am enlisting in the air force, and want to sign up for 6years which means after basic i will be E-3, I live in las vegas near the air force base and i always see air men riding around in nice cars i was wondering how do they afford it. I know that now if i wanted a nice car i will probaly be paying 500 dollars a month, plus another 500 for insurance. in the military do dealerships help u out with buying a car. and is the insurance cheaper.

Mills Gifts' Land of the Free Bear Thanks Soldiers, Helps Military Charities

Add Comment

The Land of the Free Bear from Mills Gifts is the perfect way to say thanks to the men and women fighting overseas. This plush bear plays heartwarming messages from family members of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines for service men and women to listen to. The Land of the Free Bear, wearing a camouflage fatigue jacket, is reading a letter from home and holds the airmail envelope in his other paw. He wears a dog tag saying "Land of the Free...Because of the Brave," which can be removed and worn. By pressing his foot, listeners can hear the messages of actual military members' families to their loved ones overseas. Some 10 percent of the manufacturer proceeds from the Land of the Free Bear will be donated monthly to two military charities: Fisher House Foundation and Pen Pals for Soldiers.
