They will pay you BAH(if you live on base and both BAH&BAS(basic allowance for Sustinance) if you live off base. BAS is standard rate w/ or w/out dependents and is the same through out the ranks.
Enlisted BAS= $241.60/mo
Officer BAS= $166.37/mo
Both are going to depend on rank and w/ or w/out dependents. You probably won't get paid this untill you reach tech school. you can finde all the pay rates and allowances on the net, www.dfas.mil/money/milpay/pay. I will give an example, Since their handing out E-3 Like candy ill use A1C as the example.
BAH w/ demendents= $450.90/mo
BAH w/out dependents= $332.40/mo Difference of $125.70
Partial BAH= $7.80.

I see that Brock keeps telling people they will get paid BAH even if they life ON base. That is wrong. BAH is only paid if you live OFF base, BAS is paid to ALL married individuals. BAS is only paid to single airmen who have applied and been qualified for it.
