AFOQT

I've taken the AFOQT and have turned in my application. Problem: My score was very low; I am wondering if anyone has any information as to how much this will effect my application. My letters of REc. are strong, as well as my GPA and interview.

Because the selection process

Because the selection process is based on the "whole person" concept, there's not one thing that will disqualify you or qualify you. I was selected to OTS a few months ago (prior service), I had decent scores (80's in pilot and nav, and 50's in all the others). But, I have known a handfull of officers whose scores were in the low 20's and still made it. Keep your head up, things will probably work out.

Hello, you should have boned

Hello,

you should have boned up on the test and taken it again, you have 2 shots and I've heard it can be waivered a 3rd time. You probablly wont be qualified for as many jobs as you would have liked to depending on what you were looking to do.
good luck

Hey, no problem, Im going to

Hey, no problem, Im going to guess and say scores dont need to be as high, its weird how they score this aptitude tests. You can prolly find what you need to score for certain jobs on the net as you can do w/ enlisted jobs. If you dont make it im sure you can apply again, but this time bone up on it, i already have information about that on here just filter through the threades. you can also call me if you have more questions 919 751 9657

what is consisted in the physical test before taking the afoqt?

There's no such place to find

There's no such place to find what scores qualify you for which jobs...it's nothing like the ASVAB. He's right in saying that you can retest, but be aware, they'll take your most recent score, NOT your highest.
