I just got out of BMT about 2 months ago. BMT was easy, not very physical. But you do get yelled at alot. So if you have a problem with some one in your face screaming at you from 0430 to 2200 hours I wouldn't do it.

Boot Camp not a problem. Not like the marines. Just discipline. I was in from 1981 to 2001. When I got out there wasn't even much running at all. You get up at odark30, clean, eat, go to a lot of classes, and do PE every day. PE is like, 30 sit ups, 20 push ups, run a mile etc. not hard at all. You will like it. Any more questions write to me at home at Nightcruizer@softek.net
Later.

i am a girl who is 5'1 100 lbs and i survived boot camp. it is all a mind game
so not worry too much about the physical aspect of the boot camp... i mean when you have element leaders and TIs yelling at you telling you to go faster you will do it...i guess the best way to describe it is... hell for a 6 1/2 weeks and after that you are set... you have a secure job ..benefits etc.. as long as you can pass the medical requirements before going to the meps i believe your recruiter will guide you ... also trust your recruiter they will help you

Basic training isnt all that bad. I just went through it and had minimal problems. All BMT really is is a giant mind game. The instructers cant touch you and if they do go through your chain of command and they will be punished. The easiest way to get through it is to do what you are told.
